Infrastructure Support Specialist -

The Infrastructure Support Specialist is responsible for providing
subject matter expertise in multiple customer environments surrounding
their individual IT Infrastructures (service, support and projects). The
incumbent will be the primary point of contact and directly interface
with the client.
Position Description
Provide expertise for IT infrastructure (e.g. servers, networks,
printers), application infrastructure (e.g. network security, Active
Directory, messaging, VPN services, etc.) and related services in
accordance with contractually established terms and conditions and
established technical standards.
Provides technical input, solutions, and recommendations. Engaged in
and provides support for transition efforts.
Monitors service delivery compliance to budget, quality standards, and
customers and/or internal business user requirements.
Provides IT infrastructure and/or application infrastructure lifecycle
technical support, including planning, project management, installation,
on-going management/monitoring troubleshooting, and de-installation,
following operational policies & processes compliant with industry
standards (ITIL).
Works with the key customers and/or internal businesses
representatives to retain customers and build the business.
Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex
business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate
alternatives.
Works on problems/projects of diverse complexity and scope.
